Why Choose a School Meal for Your Child?
•Fully trained and qualified catering staff who care, and will make every effort to encourage your child to choose a healthy meal.
•Development of social skills.
•Food to help children think and grow.
•At just £1.75 for a two course meal, it offers excellent value for money.

The school meal gives children an excellent opportunity to try new foods early in their developing years and is an important ingredient in the school day. There is increasing evidence which links children’s diets to their immediate and long-term health, whilst experience from schools suggests that when children eat a balanced diet they find it easier to concentrate in the classroom and their behaviour is significantly improved.
Whilst catering staff make every effort to encourage youngsters to choose healthy meals, it is vital that parents give their commitment and support to encourage children to make the healthy choices and thereby bring about the required long term benefits to our children’s well-being
