The road show was a great success with nearly 600 students finding out
useful information which will hopefully help them to make sensible
decisions in the future. In addition they will know where to find help
should a friend or family member require assistance. An interesting link
has also been produced to a questionnaire called "How well do you know
your kids?" The idea behind the questionnaire is to encourage parents to
talk to their children on all sorts of topics. Conversation can
often focus on things like 'have you done your homework', 'bring me your
dirty laundry' etc. This questionnaire is aimed to be very enlightening
and helpful when completed! Hopefully it will give families some
interesting topics to discuss at home. The link is This questionnaire is

"I am the Island Representative for the Charity 'Care for the Family' and I was at the Roadshow on Monday. I would like to say I was really impressed with the students and with the questions they asked. They were all very polite and interested.
