Coatis have long, bendy noses and long stripey tails. They are extremely good at climbing , using their long tails to help them balance. Much of their time is spent up in the trees, searching for fruit and insects to eat.

Did you know?

Coatis hold their long stripey tails straight up in the air so that other members of their group will be able to see them.

Wow!

Coatis are able to bend their ankles backwards - very useful when climbing down trees head first!
