Crab-eating Macaque |
These handsome monkeys
come from many parts of S.E. Asia, where they live in groups of about
30. |
These monkeys have the small, downward-facing nostrils which are found in all monkeys from Africa and Asia. Monkeys from S America have wide, sideways-facing nostrils! |
In a group of macaques, one big male is usually the boss. He mates with all the females - the other males don't get a look in! |
