Hissing Cockroach
The hissing cockroach is from Madagascar. It is one of the biggest cockroaches in the world! It gets its name because it makes a loud hissing noise when it is disturbed. Cockroaches belong in the group of animals known as insects. Like all insects, they have six legs and three body sections.

You can easily tell the difference between male and female cockroaches because males have two bumps on their body that look rather like horns. Females don't have these bumps.
